Some wise-guy went snorkelling and lost the car keys.
Albert didn't have any more keys. We got a new car. They got to break open
the steering column and change the ignition key.
Compare it to the old one!
BTW, the wise guy wasn't John, Simon, Lisa or Mary...
Transportation comes in many forms on Moorea. Here's a kind of scooter
that Simon found fit him perfectly.
No trip to Moorea is complete without fishing.
John brought his own gear...
But not as big as the local tackle!
We went out with an American, Chris, who runs one of two
deep sea fishing charters on Moorea.
Here's his boat...
...And here's Chris
It was a great day to be out. But not much big game! There was John,
myself and an Italian couple. I got a bite once but it didn't hook up.
Just at the end of the day, the Italian got a hook and we
got ourselves a small Ono Ono
Almost too heavy for John to display the catch
The dusk from our hut was magical every night...
...as were the dolphins at play
Snorkelling is the main family pastime for us on Moorea
And it always made Simon one hungry guy. Of course the
French baguettes made that problem easily solvable
And don't forget the wonderful soft white sand beaches...
Or the ladies on them!
There comes a time when all good things end. This is us
ready to leave the beach about an hour before the plane leaves
Then waiting around for the plane to leave
From Papeete, plane #2 steps. Na na Tahiti.
And finally home in Detroit airport. Lisa is not too happy at 5am!
