Rose is the manager of the Club Bali Hai where we stay.

Every Tuesday, Rose brings a band and dancers over for the evening at
the Club Bali Hai. |

Christian Mare is the owner of Alfredo's Restaurant.
He is originally from France. Christian gave Steve a lot of abuse
about France winning the World Cup shortly before our visit in 1998. Steve
got his own back in 2002 when France got knocked out early.

We have know Teiki since the early 1990s. At that time he was running
all of the boat tours for Hiro Kelly aboard the world famous Liki Tiki as
well as the daily snorkelling trips.
His favorite saying is "Thank you for coming and thank you for
leaving".

Seki was a teenager when we met him in the early 1990's. He was Teiki's
right hand man.
Today he does all of the talking on the trips to the Motu's. He speaks
French, Tahitian, English, German and some "basic"
Japanese |
